Brockville Overview:
BROCKVILLE CHURCHES
Why Connect with The Church in Brockville?
The Rest Stop
My wife and I often stop in Brockville as a midpoint between Guelph and Quebec City for rest and recuperation during the 11 hour drive (at our pace). We like to spread the trip over two days so we can fully enjoy the people we are visiting, instead of needing a day just to recuperate.
Sunday Morning Drive-Through
As we are Christian, when that rest stop overlaps Sunday morning, we like to worship with other believers. However, since we are new to the area, the task involves connecting with believers that reside there.
How to Connect with the Local Church
-
Discussing our plans with believers already known to us and asking for recommendations
-
Discovering and responding to church advertisements
-
Connecting with believers who have made their contact information available
-
Placing an advertisement indicating our desire to connect with Christians in the area
Making Church Friends
We are seeking to establish friendships. We would like to worship with believers who we feel God has placed along our path, who share in many of our convictions. We are hoping these will build us up in faith. We also hope to connect with those whom we can serve.

How We're Going to Do It
-
We'll start perusing the internet for church advertisements.
-
We'll have a look at social media (blogs, Facebook pages, etc.).
Also, we're going to:
A. Bring out the historical context.
B. Present some images.
C. Report on progress.
Enjoy the process!
